Headjam’s resident photographer Luke Kellett was engaged to capture the character and beauty of the Hiatus Kaiyote band members. Shot against a stark natural canvas, we successfully produced striking and unforgettable promotional images that delighted the band and their label. Translating the Hiatus Kaitoye’s aesthetic onto film was achieved by giving raw live footage a gritty and stitched treatment to capture the band’s energy and originality. Shot entirely on one roll of super 8 film with minimal editing.
