Luke's diverse skillset, full on energy and passion for collaboration sets the standard high for Headjam's team, and our creative.

Luke Kellett runs operations. He's responsible for accounts from the first client meeting and oversees the execution of strategy for creative and branding across digital and traditional media platforms, and manages all IP for the agency.

He graduated with Distinction from Account Management at the Communications Council's own AdSchool, and has worked closely with many of the Hunter's large organisations and businesses to coordinate the completion of complex projects that include the provision of a broad range of services.

Do or do not. There is no try.

Luke's skillset includes production of audiovisual content for broadcast and web-based contexts. He worked in London creating media for music labels Atlantic, Sony Music and Universal and his photography has attracted to Headjam a portfolio that includes Boy and Bear, Hiatus Kaiyote and The Waifs, and won him prizes at the Melbourne Design Awards and the Woodford Folk Festival. Thousands of his ethnographic photographs of the bohemian community in Melbourne titled "This City Speaks To Me" were purchased to form part of the permanent collection of the Victorian State Library in 2011. In 2021 his photographic series "Isolation - Portraits of Newcastle during COVID-19" was acquired by the State Library of NSW.

Luke was Treasurer of Newcastle Historic Reserve Trust for seven and a half years from 2013 to 2021, which during this period was charged with maintaining, managing and opening up to the public several historic buildings along Hunter street in Newcastle's East end, most notably the Lock-up art gallery which under the boards tenure secured bi-annual funding from Create NSW and won many national awards for its contribution to the arts within the Hunter.

For fun, he plays futsal, collects Star Wars props and hangs out with his young son Jude.
