Mia Dyson

Mia shot to fame with her 2003 album “Cold Water” and her follow-up album, “Parking Lots”, which won Best Blues & Roots album at the 2005 ARIA Awards. In 2008, Headjam's Luke Kellett had the privilege of collaborating with Mia to produce press shots prior to her departure overseas.

Inspired by Mia's imminent travels and 1920's Parisian street performers, the idea of being placed in an unknown environment with strange, otherworldly characters was formed. Long time Headjam friend Darius Devas, from Being Films, collaborated with us to produce the Super 8 mm footage of the day.
